WORCESTER, MA — It's going to be a very pleasant 300th birthday weekend in Worcester — with one rainy caveat.

Temperatures will stay in the upper 70s on both weekend days, but rain showers will move into the region on Sunday — although nothing close to what we saw with the deluge on Thursday morning.

Most of the outdoor activities planned for the Worcester's tercentennial this weekend take place on Saturday, including a 5K, parade and festival on the common. Sunday's big tercentennial concert is at the DCU Center, although there is a special Worcester Bravehearts game planned at 4 p.m.
