Man Stabbed To Death In Worcester, Woman Arrested
The 40-year-old victim was found at a home in Worcester's Greendale neighborhood on Friday morning.
WORCESTER, MA — Worcester police have arrested a 32-year-old woman in connection to a man's stabbing death on Friday.
Police responded to a home in the Greendale neighborhood at around 9 a.m. They found a 40-year-old man there who had been stabbed in the chest. He later died at a local hospital.
The woman was arrested at the scene on a charge of assault and batter by dangerous weapon.
This is the second homicide in Worcester so far this October. On Oct. 2, Thomas Bergstrom stabbed and killed his girlfriend, Jeniffer Gisselle Rivera Vazquez, 34, according to police and prosecutors. Bergstrom has been charged with assault and battery with serious bodily harm.
