Worcester's Broth, Hangover Pub Close
The owner of the Green Street restaurants announced the surprise closure in a Facebook post.

WORCESTER, MA — After a more than six-year run along Green Street in the Canal District, the owner of Broth and the Hangover Pub announced that he was closing the restaurants this week.
Owner Michael Arrastia didn't announced the closure in a Facebook post Tuesday evening without a specific reason.
"The Hangover and Broth are closed," the post said. "Thank you guys for everything over the years. Respectfully I won't be able to reply to everyone I'm gonna take some time to reflect and be with my family."

The former Peppercorns chef opened the Hangover Pub opened in April 2016 focusing on dishes featuring Arrastia's own smoked and cured bacon. Arrastia opened Broth in 2017, offering the first ramen bar in Worcester.
Both restaurants opened years before Polar Park, and well before the project was announced. The Canal District is also undergoing a wider redevelopment, with large apartment buildings planned across the street from the restaurants, and on the site of the former Table Talk factory.
