Worcester's Memorial Day Events
Events hosted by the city of Worcester to commemorate Memorial Day.
WORCESTER- The Worcester Veterans’ Council and The City of Worcester Office of the City Manager and the Veterans’ Service Department will host a series of Memorial Day events this coming Monday to commemorate the holiday, according to the city.
Water Ceremony – Sunday, May 29, 2016
2:00 p.m. at Elm Park
Registration – 1:15 p.m. at the corner of Russell and Highland Streets
129th Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony Monday, May 30
9:00 a.m. – Hope Cemetery
11 a. m. - Wreath Laying at the Massachusetts Vietnam Memorial. Green Hill Park.
2 p.m. - Korean War Veterans Ceremony at the Korean War Veterans Memorial on Major Taylor Boulevard
