Worcester's Shore Park Beach At Indian Lake Reopens
The city said Monday's water quality results are in compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health State Sanitary Code.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester's Shore Park Beach reopened on Tuesday after the waters were temporarily closed last week. E. coli bacteria levels tested too high late last week at Shore Park, part of Indian Lake. The city said the waters have since tested clean.
The city issued a public health advisory warning on Thursday about the lab test results. Elevated E.coli bacteria levels were not detected at Clason Beach. Officials warned that residents and their pets should stay out of the water.
The city posted on it's Facebook page that "Monday’s water quality results at Shore Park Beach are in compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health State Sanitary Code."
