Worcester's Spray Parks Now Open, Beaches And Pool Open Soon

Cool off, y'all.

WORCESTER, MA—Two really fun ways to cool off are open in the city.

City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr. announced that the city's two spray parks open more than a week early to help families cool off during the anticipated hot weather this week.

The water parks at East Park (Cristoforo Colombo Park) and Greenwood Park opened on Wednesday, June 21st. The facilities will be open seven days a week, from noon to 7 p.m. until Labor Day.

Worcester Public Schools also ended their classes for the year on Wednesday.

The City's public pool at Crompton Park and its beaches will open as usual, on July 1, and stay open until Aug. 20. They are also open noon to 7 p.m. seven days a week.
