Workshop At Clark For Caregivers Of Babyboomers

Clark University will host a panel, 'Caregiver Impact: Aging Baby Boomers,' on Oct. 11 featuring panelist Kate Salmon- Robinson and others.

From Clark University: With fewer resources and the financial burden on caregivers, public policy will impact people’s ability to support aging baby boomers. Clark University will host a panel, “Caregiver Impact: Aging Baby Boomers,” at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, in the Grace Conference Room, 1st floor of the Higgins University Center, 950 Main Street, Worcester. This is a free, public event.

Panelists include Kate Salmon-Robinson, director of marketing communications and community relations, SALMON Health and Retirement; Greg Guiliano, executive director, Montachusett Home Care Corporation; Laurie Black Silver, LICSW, caregiver specialist, Tri-Valley Inc.; and Debbie Gitner, LCSW, C-SWCM, co-owner of Eldercare Resource Services and vice president of the New England Regional Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. The discussion will be facilitated by Robert Dwyer, Ph.D., executive director, Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging.
