WPI Singers In A Capella Competition On WGBH

The WGBH a cappella competition "Sing That Sing" is this weekend.

WORCESTER, MA—Simple Harmonic Motion from Worcester Polytechnic Institute is competing this Friday on Season 3 of "Sing That Thing!" WGBH’s competition show for New England’s best singing groups. They’ll perform alongside Sound Off from Boston, MA, and Accent A Capella from Lincoln-Sudbury High School.

The three coaches, Annette Philip, a Berklee professor and director of Berklee Indian Ensemble and Co-Founder of Berklee India Exchange, WGBH Arts Editor Jared Bowen and Boston Children’s Chorus president and artistic director Anthony Trecek-King, offer guidance and decide which groups move on to the semifinals.

The episode airs Friday, May 12, at 8:30 p.m. on WGBH 2.
