1 Dead, 5 Hurt in Plainville Crash
The deceased was identified as Tony Q. Dang, 36, of Randolph.
One person died and five were hurt in a six-car crash on Route 495 in Plainville Sunday night.
State Police said immediately before the crash, there were reports a vehicle was driving the wrong way on the southbound side of the highway.
The deceased was identified as Tony Q. Dang, 36, of Randolph. He was driving a 2006 Honda Accord.
State Police identified the other individuals involved in the crash:
- Abraham E. Reay, 31, of Attleboro, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Her passenger, Stacy D. Reay of Attleboro, was not hurt. Reay was driving a 2012 Honda Accord.
- Christine J. Nolder, 45, of Bridgewater, was not hurt. Her passenger, Nancy A. Hanley, 51, of Bridgewater, was not hurt. Nolder was driving a 2010 Toyota Highlander.
- Justin T. Daniels, 24, of Dudley, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry.
- Maria Costa, 28, of Providence, R.I., suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was driving a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo
- Darrell R. Ramos, 20, of New Bedford, was not hurt. He was driving a 2012 Nissan Maxima.
- Brian Paulsen, 54, of Monument Beach, was not hurt. He was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander.
Police said the crash was under investigation.
