5 Things: Watch Out for Road Work

1. The National Weather Service is forecasting a day of patchy fog plus a high of 77 degrees that should drop to a low of 60 during the evening.

Anyone traveling around Franklin may want to plan ahead. East Central Street from Glen Meadow Road to the Chestnut Ridge access road will be closed to westbound traffic on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5:00 a.m. until about 5:00 p.m. During this time traffic will be one-way directed eastward (towards
Wrentham). Westbound traffic (towards Franklin center) will be detoured to Jordan Road and Chestnut Street.

4. The Fiske Library will allow kids to check out some of the trucks from the Wrentham DPW as part of their "Touch a Truck" series. Preschoolers are invited to hear a truck story before seeing an actual truck. The activites begin at 10 a.m.

5. New England Patriots Training Camp is back today as the Pats will workout at Gilette Stadium from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
