Five Things You Need To Know Today is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance.

1. The  will hold two  today. Birth to pre-walkers with Mom, Dad or caregiver will meet at 9:30am. Toddlers (walkers) to ages 2½ with Mom, Dad or caregiver will meet at 10:30am. Playgroups are held in the Sweatt Meeting Room. No registration required.

3. The at Roche Bros. supermarket in Millis on Friday, April 6 from 4pm to 7pm. KP volunteers will be available to collect receipts as shoppers exit the store and Roche Brothers will donate 5 percent of the bill to the KP Parents’ Network.
