5 Things You Should Know Today: August 22

1.  are available today from 1pm to 3:30pm at the . Please call the Senior Center if you would like to meet with Veterans' Agent Ken Oles.

2. The  will be accepting late registrations for their  today and tomorrow from 8am to 2pm at the main office at the high school. Please bring a separate check for a late fee in the amont of $25.00.

3. The  will hold several fall sports tryouts/practices today:  Please note, all students must be registered before they are allowed to tryout.

•  will be held in the back practice field of the high school today from 8am to 12pm.
•  will be held from 9am to 4pm at the field house.

4. Volunteers are needed for the Rice Complex Playground  on September 24 which will take place at the Rice Complex parking lot. If interested, please email: ricecomplexplayground@gmail.com to find out how you can help.  Even if you can't volunteer your time, you can still help out by saving all your cans and bottles for their upcoming drive.
