5 Things You Should Know Today: August 4
Here's what's happening around town today, Thursday, August 4.

1. Beat the heat by spending the day at Sweatt Beach on Lake Pearl. The beach and snack bar will be open today from 10am to 4pm. Day passes can be purchased for only $6 adult, $3 children. Sweatt Beach is located on Woolford Road, off Elysium Street and is staffed by lifeguards. For more information, call the Recreation Department at (508) 384-5427.
2. Stop by the stand for a variety of Farm Fresh Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, including beans, beets, cabbage, carrots, corn, peppers and so much more. The farm stand is open daily 10am to 6pm from mid-June to mid-December.
3. Wrentham will hold a today from 1pm to 3pm. The cost of the program is $2.

4. The presents music by the rock band "Garden Party" on the Norfolk Town Hill at 6:30pm. This FREE Concert Series is funded by Norfolk Recreation & The Norfolk Cultural Council.
