Bushway is tops for the Cardinals in ground balls and caused turnovers, who got off to a 7-4 start this year. She appeared as a starter in the first 11 games of the season.Â

The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team returned to action this weekend with a pair of contests at home after being idle for nearly two weeks. The Cardinals lost to Notre Dame, 16-15 in two overtimes. Sunday, Louisville will face Marquette, who is in its first year.Â
Bushway played in 15 games as sophomore, finishing with 13 goals and six assists for 19 points, while she appeared in four games as a freshman, scoring her first collegiate goal against Manhattan.Â

In high school, she was a two-time Hockomock League lacrosse all-star selection as the most valuable player as a senior. She also played field hockey and was on the indoor track team.
