Join gardeners at Stony Brook throughout the gardening season as we prepare the soil and beds, plant seeds and seedlings, maintain the beds through mulching and weeding, build the compost pile and finally harvest the crops. Topics will include purchasing seed, starting seeds, transplanting, cultivation, weeding, mulching, composting, harvesting (and eating).
Fee: no charge. Donations support the garden.
Pre-registration is required for all programs.
