Program topics include: How medicines work and how aging affects medication use. Common prescription, over-the-counter, herbal drugs and food interactions. Warning signs of drug interactions. Strategies to prevent medication errors. Tips for safe medication management.
This program is free, with funding provided by a grant from HESSCO Elder Services and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs with funds from Title III of the Older American’s Act.
