Wrentham Youth Baseball and Softball will kick off its 2011 season with a “Kids Day” theme at 2pm on April 10th.
An always exciting opening day will have extra sizzle and spark this year! The usual fun filled day will be more exciting for the whole family with games, moon bounces, obstacle course for all ages, food and festivities surrounding the ceremonies. Take the time to dunk one of your favorite coaches in the dunk tank – good aim is required!

The parade will begin in the center of town- led by our firefighters and policeman. After arriving on Sweatt fields, the opening ceremonies will be held on the Little League field, where the national anthem will be sung by students from the King Philip Middle School, and the flags will be presented by select members of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. An exciting “all kids for the kids” day!

In addition, creating excitement for the event from beginning to end - all the teams from all the leagues will be vying for first place in the annual team banner contest. This year each team will create its own theme and build a creative banner around it. Every year the banners are more creative and more fun!
Finally, as always, there will be excitement around who will throw out the first pitch to kickoff another successful season! It’s a can’t miss good time for the whole family with plenty of music, screaming and excitement for all!
