2. Wrentham's Alec Palioca will be playing for the Original All-Stars in Thursday night's first New England Futures Collegiate Baseball All-Star Game at Holman Stadium in Nashua, NH. at 7 p.m. Palioca, a Wheaton College standout, pitches for the Torrington Titans. 

3. It may be a few weeks away but registration has begun for the Crackerbarrel 5K on Sept. 15. Registration can be done at the race's offical website.

4. The Fiske Public Library will be having an airing of Certified Copy as a part of their Foreign Films Series in the Sweatt Meeting Room on Wednesday, July 25 at 7 p.m.
