Get Out: Area Events this Weekend

Looking at events in the Wrentham area.


Where/When: . Friday, March 9, 7:30pm.
What is it?: The Humble Warrior Yoga Studio will host a workshop introducing the fundamentals of yoga on Friday night. Topics to be explored include breath, postures, flow, eye gaze, mindfulness, chanting and meditation.
Price: Free


Where/When: . Saturday, March 10, 2:30pm to 3:45pm.
What is it?: A Lego Club at the library. No registration required.
Price: None


Where/When: . Saturday, March 10, 12:30pm.
What is it?: There will be a corned beef dinner in honor of St. Patrick's Day at the church's Fellowship Hall on Saturday. The dinner, which will benefit the King Philip DARE program, will feature corned beef and cabbage, there will be boiled potatoes, cooked carrots, Irish soda bread, beverages, and desert.
Tickets may be purchased at the church office (call 508-384-3110) and at the dinner (if there is still space), or email kpdare@gmail.com.
Price: $10 per person, with a family maximum of $35.

Where/When: Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary, 1417 Park St., Attleboro. Saturday, March 10, 3pm to 4:30pm.
What is it?: Attleboro's Oak Knoll Mass Audubon site will host a program about native water birds on Saturday. Please dress accordingly (jacket and good hiking shoes are needed) and feel free to bring binoculars, spotting scopes and field guides for the hiking portion of the program.
Price: $8 for members, $10 for nonmembers.
