Massachusetts has officially bet in favor of casino gambling. Gov. Patrick signed "An Act Establishing Gaming in the Commonwealth" into law Tuesday morning at the State House.
Massachusetts' lawmakers gave the final approval last Wednesday evening to the bill legalizing casino gambling in Massachusetts, the Boston Globe reported.
The legislation was sent to Gov. Patrick's desk for his signature, which he signed Tuesday saying, "I've never had a moral objection to gaming...for me the fundamental question has always been whats the best way," according to the Globe.

The approved legislation allows for three resort-style casinos and one slot parlor.
