Learn to identify the plants invading your yard – and what you can do to control them.

Learn about Wrentham’s Backyard Invasive Plants on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 pm, in the Sweatt Meeting Room at the Fiske Public Library.

Invasives are non-native plants that aggressively invade natural areas and displace our native vegetation. Lacking their usual predators and parasites, they have a competitive edge over native species. Invasives are one of the greatest threats to our biodiversity because they out-compete, displace, or outright kill native species. Karro Frost will explain what these plants are, what they look like – and what you can do about them in your own backyard!
