King Philip Deca Store Receives Gold Re-Certification

WRENTHAM, MA — King Philip DECA Vice President of Marketing Hannah Mahoney made the following announcement about the high school’s business club:

The King Philip DECA Chapter is honored and humbled to announce that, for the third time in the organization’s history, the store has been gold re-certified.

Abigail Simmons and Courtney Ali will be representing the school at an international showcase of award-winning school stores at DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tenn. this April.

In order to be recognized as a gold certified enterprise, the following standards must be met: financial analysis, marketing information management, market planning, product service management, pricing, distribution channel management, promotion, selling and human resource management.
