The search had drawn controversy over teacher representation on the committee. The administration had sought faculty volunteers for the search committee, but the teachers union wanted to choose the teachers who would participate.
Zielinski had said the administration offered to have two teachers on the committee, with one chosen from the volunteers and one chosen by the union. She said the proposal rejected.
