NWS Confirms a Tornado Touched Down in Wrentham
Cell phone alerts allowed residents to get to safety quickly, according to forecasters.

Wrentham took it on the chin from Mother Nature on Tuesday, according to Wretham Police, but came through a tornado with no reported injuires.
A National Weather Service Survey Team confirmed on Wednesday that an EF-0 tornado touched down on Tuesday on the Town Common in Wrenthan, on Twitter.
The strong thunderstorm produced a small tornado was approximately half-a-mile long, 200 yards wide, with estimated wind speeds of 80 miles per hour. The damage was mainly to trees, including trees snapped off, and branches and trees down, according to a NWS special statement.

There were no reported injuries.
