This is the second boiler at the Delaney School this year, as the first broke down during the winter. The boilers worked in tandem when both were working. One would work while the other cooled down.
โThey cycle back and forth in the winter,โ Marsden said.

He said when the first broke down, he found out it was a systemic problem with the model of the boiler.
โThis model has had failures everywhere,โ he said. โWhen the inspectors came out they werenโt surprised. This model has a high failure rate.โ
The other boiler cost $31,000, the cost of which was covered by the schoolโs insurance and Marsden said this one is likely to be covered also, but they will find out shortly.
Marsden said the replacement work will start in the next six to eight weeks.
โItโs a three to four day job for each one,โ he said.
