State Police: Man and Dog Killed in Crash
The crash remains under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.

An Easton man and his dog were killed in a single-car crash just before 11 Monday morning on Interstate 495 south in Wrentham.
State police from the Foxboro barracks responded to a report of a crash, and found a 2005 Toyota Sienna had gone off the roadway, crossed a grass shoulder and struck a wall. The operator and the dog were deceased at the scene, according to authorities.
The operator was identified on Tuesday as Michael Masters, 65, of Easton, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

The investigation into what caused the vehicle to drive off the roadway remains under investigation by state police. Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Wrentham Fire Department and the Wrentham Animal Control officer.
The investigation did not necessitate the closing of any traffic lanes.
