Voter's Guide: What you Need to Know About Voting in Wrentham

Tomorrow, Wretham and the rest of the country will go to the polls to vote in this year's Presidential election. In addtion to chosing who the Commander in Chief will be, voters will pick a new congressman and decide who will represent Massachusetts in the US Senate. 

The Ballot: The Wrentham Town Clerk has released a sample ballot for those who would like to see what the ballot will look like before they vote.

Where and When to Vote: Voting will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Delaney School located at 120 Taunton Street. 

Presidential: President and Democrat Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden face Republican and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and VP candidate Paul Ryan.

US Senate: Wrentham resident and Republican Senator Scott Brown looks to win his first full term as a US Senator against Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren.

4th Congressional District: In Wrentham's first year as part of the Massachusets 4th Congressional District, voters will choose if Democratic candidate Joe Kennedy III or GOP candidate Sean Bielat will replace Rep. Barney Frank in the House of Representative.

Governor's Council, Second District: Democratic candidate Robert Jubinville of Milton and Republican candidate Earl Sholley of Norfolk will challenge for the seat.

Ballot Question 1: "Do you approve of a proposed law that would prohibit any motor vehicle manufacturer, starting with model year 2015, from selling or leasing, either directly or through a dealer, a new motor vehicle without allowing the owner to have access to the same diagnostic and repair information made available to the manufacturer’s dealers and in-state authorized repair facilities?"

Ballot Question 2: "Do you approve of a proposed law that would allow a physician licensed in Massachusetts to prescribe medication, at a terminally ill patient’s request, to end that patient’s life?"

Ballot Question 3: "Do you approve of a proposed law that would eliminate state criminal and civil penalties for the medical use of marijuana by qualifying patients?"
