Man Allegedly Lowered His Pants and Exposed His Genitals and Buttocks on a Train

A Wrentham man allegedly lowered his pants and exposed his genitals and buttocks on a northbound Red Line train on Monday afternoon, according to MBTA authorities.

Transit Police officers received a radio call to respond to the MBTA’s JFK-UMass station for a report of a disorderly male just before 1 p.m., Monday. Several witnesses told the officers that a man was harassing passengers on the train.

When the passengers asked the man to cease his behavior, he responded by lowering his pants and exposing his genitals and buttocks, according to authorities. The witnesses pointed out the man to officers, who was still inside the train.

Officers removed Brian Treeful, 42 of Wrentham, from the train placed him into custody for open and gross lewdness.

While the officers were putting Treeful into the transport vehicle, he attempted to spit at the officers and was uncooperative, according to authorities.

Treeful was eventually transported to Transit headquarters. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in Dorchester District Court.
