Wrentham Police: Man Photographed Kids At School Bus Stop

Wrentham police said a man in his 40s with dark hair and glasses photographed students waiting for their school bus on Heather Lane.

WRENTHAM, MA — Wrentham police are investigating a report of a man in his 40s photographing students at a Heather Lane school bus stop. Police said the incident happened Thursday morning at about 7:30 a.m. The suspect is a white man in his 40s or 50s with dark hair and glasses, police said. He was driving an older model car colored tan or gold — possibly a Honda Accord or Civic, police said.

Authorities asked the public's help identifying the suspect; anyone with information is asked to contact Wrentham police at 508-384-2121.

Police said the man was seen on Heather Lane and Grant Mills Road. Police asked homeowners in the area with security cameras to contact them, as video could help identify the suspect's vehicle.

"If anyone observes this vehicle or any suspicious activity, please try to note the license plate number; perhaps take a picture of the car with your cell phone; and note as much as possible about the vehicle and occupant/s," Wrentham police said in a statement. "All assistance is appreciated, however; please do not approach suspicious vehicles/people. We don't want you placing yourself in danger. Be our eyes and ears, call us immediately and let the (Wrentham Police Department) do the rest."
