4. Arlington man sentenced in Hyannis No Kings rally assault (capecodtimes.com) — A Yarmouth Port resident injured during last October's No Kings rally in Hyannis has seen the accused assailant accept a plea that brings one year of probation and mandatory anger management. The Arlington man must stay away from and avoid contacting the Yarmouth Port protester, after the court found sufficient facts in the assault case. The sentence runs through August 2027.
5. Christopher Lambton heads to general election in First Barnstable win (capecodtimes.com) — Yarmouth voters helped deliver a decisive Democratic primary win for Christopher Lambton in the First Barnstable District state representative race, giving him 2,510 votes. Across Brewster, Dennis, and Yarmouth he captured more than 72% of the vote and now advances unopposed to November's general election. His opponent, Steven Liebowitz, quickly conceded and pledged support for the Democratic ticket.
