High Bacteria Levels Close These MI Beaches

Ten Michigan beaches are closed due to high bacteria levels, according to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.

The closures come amid great beach weather across Michigan where highs are expected to hit the upper 80s this weekend.

Here are the beaches that were under closed as of Thursday afternoon:

• Camp Dearborn, Oakland County
• Crescent Lake Park, Oakland County
• Henes Park, Menominee County
• Lake Oakland Shores, Oakland County
• Lakeland Estates, Oakland County
• Pinecrest Shores, Oakland County
• Slyvan Lake, Oakland County
• Thelma Spencer Park, Oakland County
• Upper Long Lake, Oakland County
• Watkins Lake, Oakland County
