$1M Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In MI: Was It You?

While a New Jersey player hit the $1 billion jackpot Tuesday night, someone in Michigan won $1 million after matching the five white balls.

MICHIGAN — While a New Jersey player hit the $1 billion jackpot in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, someone in Michigan won a $1 million, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket, which matched the five white balls (7, 11, 22, 29 and 38) was sold at Kelly’s Express Market in Jackson, according to lottery officials.

The winner should call the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prizes. The prizes must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.

The winner has one year to claim the wining ticket or it will expire. A different $1 million winning mega millions ticket expired earlier this month after no one claimed it for a year.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, March 29. The estimated jackpot is estimated at $20 million ($9.5 million cash option).
