2 MI Beer Gardens Among Best In The Nation: Ranking

Two Michigan beer gardens are among the best in the nation, according to a USA TODAY 10BEST ranking.

Watermark Brewing Company, located in Stevensville, came in at No. 1.

"The sprawling beer garden boasts lush greenery, comfortable seating, firepits, and open-air views perfect for gatherings of all sizes," USA Today said. "Inside, the modern yet welcoming taproom serves as the hub for an ever-evolving lineup of meticulously crafted beers."

The brewery also partners with food trucks in the area to offer a rotating menu of bites to go along with their drinks.

Hop Lot Brewing, located in Suttons Bay, is the second-best beer garden in the nation, according to the ranking.

Along with its beers, guests can also reserve their own igloos to enjoy their drinks outdoors in the winter.

"Embracing its Northern Michigan roots, Hop Lot Brewing’s beer garden invites guests to warm up around the campfire or relax at a picnic table while enjoying their brews," USA Today said.
