These 2 MI Retail Stores Are Accepting Bed Bath & Beyond Coupons
If you still have Bed Bath & Beyond coupons lingering around, you can use them at these two Michigan retail stores.

MICHIGAN — Two Michigan retailers are accepting Bed Bath & Beyond coupons from customers who missed the chance to use them before the company started closing sales.
Big Lots will accept the iconic blue coupons, even expired ones, through May 7 at its stores. Shoppers will get 20 percent off a $50 purchase or more. There are 47 Big Lot locations in Michigan, including metro Detroit locations in Dearborn, Farmington Hills and Westland.
The Container Store will also accept the coupons for a 20 percent discount off a single item through May 31, as long as the customer presents "a competitor’s blue coupon" to the cashier. The coupons cannot be combined with other discounts or sales, or used to buy a gift card. The only two Container Store locations in Michigan are in Oakland County: Novi and Troy.

The last seven Bed Bath & Beyond stores in Michigan began closing sales Wednesday after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Although the company stopped accepting coupons, stores will still accept gift cards and certificates through May 8, and returns and exchanges will be accepted through May 24.
The bankruptcy filing comes as the economy is weakening and shoppers are tightening their purse strings. The company announced in August it would close about 150 of its namesake stores and slash its workforce by 20 percent.

Bed Bath & Beyond warned Jan. 5 that it was considering various options including filing for bankruptcy and said that there was "substantial doubt" that it could stay in business.
In late March, it noted that preliminary results showed anywhere from a 40 percent to 50 percent decline in sales at stores opened at least a year for the quarter that ended Feb. 25.
