2 Michigan Towns Among Scariest For Halloween, Magazine Says
One of the Michigan towns needs no introduction, as most Michiganders are familiar with the spectacular Halloween display.

MICHIGAN — A popular travel magazine named two Michigan cities among the scariest Halloween towns across the country.
Travel site Trips To Discover said Dearborn and Romeo are among the 18 Best U.S. Small Towns to Visit during Halloween. The two Michigan towns were among other notable Halloween attractions, such as Salem, Massachusetts and Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Although Dearborn families tend to do exceptionally well decorating their neighborhoods for Halloween, the travel site primarily listed Greenfield Village's annual Hallowe’en event as the main attraction.

The harvest markets, ghostly performances and fall themes surrounded by over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns make the 40+ year tradition one of a kind. In addition, the village also offers the Hallowe’en Express, which takes riders along a ghoulish and surprising journey through Greenfield Village.
Romeo, on the other hand, needs no introduction, as most Michiganders are familiar with the "Terror on Tillson Street," which sees many homes in the neighborhood decorated with spooky decorations, as well as plenty of others to delight little ones such as smiling jack-o-lanterns and Charlie Brown characters.

"These seriously detailed displays on their front lawns cause quite the spectacle, as they’re so intricate that they can rival the work of Hollywood set designers," the publication wrote.
The houses on Tillson Street are usually all decorated by mid-October and remain through Halloween night. It's best to walk the street to see all the houses, as there's usually bumper-to-bumper traffic on the street. There is parking on the street, but it's hard to find and usually better to park around Tillson Street.
The other 16 cities the magazine found among the scariest during Halloween include:
Independence, KS, St. Helens, OR, Salem, MA, Estes Park CO, Anoka, MN, Sleepy Hollow, NY, Ceredo and Kenova, WV, Laconia, WV, Chatham, MA, New Hope, PA, Sycamore, IL, Savannah, GA, Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Eureka, MS, Providence, RI and Cynthiana, KY.
