2 People, Dogs Killed In MI Plane Crash: Police
An Indiana couple and their two dogs were killed in a Sunday morning plane crash in western Michigan, according to Michigan State Police.

MASON COUNTY, MI — An Indiana couple and their two dogs were killed in a Sunday morning plane crash in western Michigan, according to Michigan State Police.
Police said a fixed wing, single engine plane crashed at roughly 10 a.m. Sunday morning near the Mason County airport, killing a 60-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman and their two dogs, according to Michigan State Police.
The couple were visiting family in the Ludington area, police said. Officials did not identify the couple.

Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole told WMOM the crash site was roughly 800 to 1,000 yards north of the airport. He also said it was snowing at the time of the crash, but doesn't know if the weather played a role in the crash.
Officials were still investigating the crash.
