3 Dead In Northern MI Wrong-Way Crash: Police
Three people were killed in a northern Michigan wrong-way crash Friday morning, Michigan State Police said.

HIGGINS TOWNSHIP, MI — Three people were killed in a northern Michigan wrong-way crash Friday morning, Michigan State Police said.
State troopers said the crash happened at 10:10 a.m. on Roscommon Road, near East Robinson Lake Road, in Higgins Township.
A 36-year-old Prudenville man was driving a 2015 BMW north on Roscommon Road, and veered beyond the southbound lane and continued on the southbound shoulder "for some time," police said.

When the Prudenville man got back onto the road near East Robinson Lake Road, he smashed into a 2018 Kia head-on that was driving south, police said.
The driver of the Kia, and his wife, both 73-year-old Roscommon residents were killed in the crash, police said.

The Prudenville man was taken to Grayling Mercy Hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.
Officials were still investigating the crash.
