4 MI Resorts Among Best In Midwest: Ranking

MICHIGAN — Michigan is home to four of the top ten resorts in the entire Midwest, according to a popular travel magazine.

Travel and Leisure magazine released "10 Favorite Resorts in the Midwest of 2024" and Michigan had more resorts on the list than any other state.

The Michigan resorts that made the list include:

No. 4 Mackinac Island’s Hotel, Iroquois

No. 5 Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island

No. 9, Saint John’s Resort, Plymouth

No. 10 Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island

To determine the list, the publication ranked resorts rooms/facilities, location, service, food and value. They also asked readers to talk about their travel experiences around the world and share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines and more.
