7 MI Beaches Closed Ahead Of Labor Day Weekend: Here's The List

MICHIGAN — Seven Michigan beaches are closed due to high bacteria levels across the state.

The beaches are closed as forecasters expect great beach weather this holiday weekend across Michigan.

Here are the beaches that were closed as of Friday afternoon:

Houghton Lake - Lakeview Waterfront Park - Roscommon County
Lake Bellaire - Richardi Park - Antrim County
Park Lake - Bath Township Park Lake Beach - Clinton County
Lake St. Clair - St. Clair Shores Memorial Park Beach - Macomb County
Kent Lake - Kensington - Maple beach - Oakland County
Sandy Bottom Lake - Water's Edge Camp - Livingston County
