8 MI Beaches Closed Due To High Bacteria Levels: Here's The List

MICHIGAN — Eight Michigan beaches are closed due to high bacteria levels across the state.

The beaches are closed as forecasters expect great beach weather with temperatures in the mid 80s and sunny skies.

Here are the beaches that were closed as of Friday afternoon:

Ross Lake - Beaverton City Park, Gladwin County

Houghton Lake - Lakeview Waterfront Park, Roscommon County

Lake Bellaire - Richardi Park, Antrim County

Park Lake - Bath Township Park Lake Beach, Clinton County

Lake Cadillac - Kenwood Park, Wexford County

Quarry Beach - Quarry Beach, Schoolcraft County

Lake St. Clair - St. Clair Shores Memorial Park Beach, Macomb County

Lake Huron - Forestville Beach, Sanilac County
