$842M Powerball Ticket Sold At MI Grocery Store
Someone in Michigan won the Powerball Jackpot worth $842 million Monday night's drawing. Here's where it was sold.

MICHIGAN — Someone's New Year's resolution came true in Michigan after hitting the Powerball Jackpot worth $842 million Monday night.
The winning numbers drawn were: 12, 21, 42, 44, 49 and red Powerball: 1.
The winning ticket was bought at the Food Castle of Grand Blanc, located at 3035 East Grand Blanc Road in Grand Blanc.

The lucky player has the choice between an annuitized prize of $842.4 million, payable over 30 years, or a lump sum payment of $425.2 million. Both prize options are before taxes.
Monday’s $842.4 million jackpot is the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot ever won and the tenth-largest jackpot won in U.S. Lottery history. It had been growing since mid-October.

There were also four other winning tickets that were sold in California, Connecticut, Florida and Maryland, that matched all five white balls to win $1 million prizes. Two tickets, from Florida and Texas, matched all five white balls and won $2 million prizes by including the Power Play option for an additional $1 per play.
