American Advantage Home Care wins national marketing awards

American Advantage Home Care, a full-service home health care agency that provides 24/7 skilled medical care across southeast Michigan, has won two national awards in the 39th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition, the largest and oldest health care advertising awards program.

The agency earned a Gold award in the television advertising — series category for four ads, “Home Care Through the Seasons,” and a Bronze award in the podcasts category for the agency-sponsored and -produced podcast, “The Home Health Care Today Show.”

Co-producer of both entries is Afro Productions LLC, Northville.

“It’s important that our advertising reflects the high quality of home care that American Advantage provides,” said Cleamon Moorer Jr., DBA, agency president. “These awards are validation that we’ve met that goal.”

Moorer and his wife, Nicole Willis-Moorer, own and operate the agency.

The upbeat television advertising series highlights the advantages of home care provided by American Advantage: They “won’t drop the ball” in a reference to football; patients can “thrive and rebound” in their own homes, in a reference to basketball; American Advantage is the right home health care for “battle-tested” Detroit; and the agency’s commitment and passion to quality home care is rising even when leaves and temperatures drop in the fall.

“The Home Health Care Today Show” is a semi-monthly podcast/webcast that informs and builds awareness of home health care issues important to Michigan residents. It was launched in 2021 in support of the agency’s home health care clients.

Guests have included representatives from state health care associations and foundations, noted health care providers and educators; those who represent health care companies, hospitals and private practices; and elected leaders.
