LAFCU has promoted BethAnn Bailey to branch manager and Diane Myall to assistant quality assurance manager, recognizing their leadership, experience and commitment to supporting the credit union’s members and operations.

BethAnn Bailey was promoted to branch manager from her previous role as assistant branch manager. She joined LAFCU in 2019 as a part-time teller at the Charlotte branch and later advanced to a full-time senior member service representative, serving briefly in Eaton Rapids before returning to Charlotte.

Over the past two years, Bailey served as assistant branch manager, supporting operations at LAFCU’s West Lansing branch and most recently managing the credit union’s team of float staff — employees who provide support across multiple branches when additional coverage is needed. In her new role, Bailey will oversee daily branch operations while leading team development, community engagement and an enhanced member experience.

Before joining LAFCU, Bailey spent nearly a decade working in medical insurance billing and equipment services. Her background in health care, along with her education in nursing and medical insurance billing and coding, helped develop her strong attention to detail, service mindset and ability to build relationships — skills she now brings to her leadership role at the credit union.

A resident of Charlotte, she attended Baker College and earned a medical insurance specialist, billing and coding certification from Ross Education.

Diane Myall was promoted to assistant quality assurance manager after building a strong career at LAFCU spanning more than 23 years. She joined the credit union in 2002 as a part-time teller at the South Lansing Branch and went on to support multiple locations, including the Okemos and Eaton Rapids branches, serving as a teller and senior member services representative, providing backup support for member service and loan functions.

Myall later returned to the South Lansing Branch, where she advanced into leadership roles, including promotion to head teller — a position she has held for the past 15 years. In that role, she oversaw key cash operations and supported daily teller line functions.

In her new role as assistant quality assurance manager, Myall will help monitor and strengthen operational procedures across the credit union, ensuring consistency in policy adherence while supporting initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Prior to joining LAFCU, Myall worked as a teller at another bank, building a strong foundation in member service and branch operations. She is a resident of Leslie.

“BethAnn and Diane both bring deep experience, strong leadership and a commitment to serving our members,” said Chrystal Murphy, vice president of operations at LAFCU. “Their focus on supporting our teams and strengthening our operations will continue to benefit our organization and the communities we serve.”
