Drivers across Michigan paid an average of $59 for a full 15-gallon tank, according to AAA.
Gas prices across metro Detroit were still above the state average Monday.
The price for a regular gallon of gas across the Detroit region was $4.00, which is 12 cents cheaper than a week ago and 24 cents less than a month ago, according to AAA.
The most expensive gas price averages for gas across Michigan were in Ann Arbor ($4.05), Metro Detroit ($4.01) and Lansing ($3.97).
The cheapest places to get gas in Michigan were Marquette ($3.62), Traverse City ($3.90) and Flint ($3.91).
