Police told Fox 8 Friday they believe investigators have found the tubes, but were still looking for the missing trio.

"We think we located all the flotation devices. There were two tubes and they're all pool floatation devices, they weren't river floatation devices," Michigan State Police Lt. Pat Agema told the news station.

The investigation began after the father of one of the missing women found her vehicle at the Maple Island Boat Launch with a broken window, according to police.

Investigators also found footprints in the area that are being evaluated as part of the ongoing investigation.

Family members have not been able to contact any of the missing individuals, according to police.

Police ask anyone who may have seen the individuals, observed the tubes, or has information that could assist investigators to contact the Michigan State Police Hart Post at 231-873-2171 or the Newaygo County Sheriff's Office at 231-689-7303 or Newaygo Central Dispatch at 231-689-5288.
