PORT HURON, MI — President Donald Trump will be in Michigan this weekend to try to energize Republican voters ahead of the upcoming midterms elections.
The Midterm Rally will take place Sunday at the McMorran Place Arena in downtown Port Huron, according to city officials.
"Our team is hard at work preparing to welcome the President of the United States for the first presidential visit in Port Huron and St. Clair County history," city officials said.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the president expected to speak around 3 p.m., according to the event notice on the party's website.
Those who sign up to attend can request up to four tickets.
The rally comes as Michiganders prepare to determine several key races, including governor, U.S. Senate and several U.S. House and State Legislature.
Election Day is Nov. 3, though early voting has begun across Michigan.
