A female was walking to her dorm when she was grabbed from behind and physically assaulted, police said.

EAST LANSING, MI — Police are seeking the public’s help to solve an attempted kidnapping that took place last month at Michigan State.

The incident occurred around midnight Feb. 11 on Shaw Lane outside McDonel Hall, according to state police. A female was walking to her dorm when she was grabbed from behind and physically assaulted, police said. She fought off her attacker and he fled on foot, according to police.
