Boy, 15, Threatens To Shoot Up MI HS Homecoming Dance: Police
Investigators determined the boy made the threat amid a rift he was having with his ex-girlfriend, according to police.
TEMPERANCE, MI — A 15-year-old boy threatened to shoot up a homecoming dance at a high school in Monroe County, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said they were notified of the threat toward Bedford High School in Temperance shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police, including Michigan State troopers immediately set up a security perimeter around the school's campus, according to police.
