Early In-Person Voting Starts Saturday In MI: What To Know
It's the first time Michiganders can vote in-person early in a presidential election.

MICHIGAN — Early in-person voting for this year's general November elections starts Saturday across Michigan.
It's the first time Michiganders can vote in-person early in a presidential election. The early in-person voting period will last through the Sunday before Election Day, Nov. 3.
All Michigan communities must allow at least nine days of consecutive in-person voting for the election, but some can add more. Detroit, East Lansing and Canton Township have already begun their early voting period.

Any registered voter in Michigan can vote early and in person at an early voting site for statewide and federal elections. You can find your early precinct here. Hours vary by location.
Voting early in-person is basically the same as voting in-person on Election Day. Voters will be given a ballot, they will fill it out and then insert it directly into a tabulator.

You do not need a photo ID, though officials encourage that you bring one. If you do not have a photo ID, you will have to sign an affidavit.
However, you cannot register to vote at an early in-person voting site. Anyone who needs to register to vote must do so at their local clerk’s office by 8 p.m. Election Day.
Once you submit your ballot into the tabulator, you cannot change it.
