Inc. 5000 List Includes More Than 100 Michigan Companies

More than 100 Michigan companies have been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in America. Grand Rapids-based FormulaFoilio Investments, an algorithm-based money manager and software platform that caters to independent financial advisers, topped the Michigan list and ranked10th nationally.

Second in Michigan and 49th nationally was Ada-based Boost Marketing, followed by Grand Rapids-based Fifth-Wheel Freight (168th nationally), Ottawa Lake-based SD Bullion (177th nationally) and Kentwood-based Mobile Defenders (214th nationally).

Collectively, the companies on the list employed 619,631 people from 2014-2016, Inc. said.
